Coins

It is very important to draw attention to the large collection of coins owned by the Institution, the oldest being of Greek and Roman origin, followed by those minted in Muslim Spain and in the Christian kingdoms during the Re-conquest.

Also important is the group of legal coins from the periods of the Austrian and Bourbon rulers, not only from the Peninsular but also from the West Indies.
